Something I like to do from time to time is to get her some flowers for my mommy. No special occasion, just a random something to let her know that I maybe, kind of, sort of love her. She always gets mad at me because she said that it’s a waste of money, that she already knows how I feel, yet it’s that split second where she smiles knowing that her little boy thought of her during the day, that makes it all worth it.
So how about today you get some flowers from your mom and pay her a little visit. If you don’t live near her, order some flowers online or better yet, give her a call. For a mom, it’s never an inconvenience to hear from her kids. If your mom is no longer reachable… well then take a few moments to remember her, about the goods times that you had, and how she always made you feel special when you were not feeling well.
Today, I’m feeling extra loving, I might even buy her a balloon 🙂
